New golf carts – such as the E-Z-GO ELiTE series with lithium technology – are priced above that depending on model, equipment and configuration; you'll receive the exact price with an individual quote. The range comes down to five factors.
1. Brand and Model
A classic 2-seater for the golf course costs less than a 4- to 8-seater people mover or a utility vehicle with cargo bed. As general importer, our E-Z-GO and Cushman programme covers the entire spectrum, complemented by used Club Car vehicles in the entry segment.
2. Battery Technology – the Biggest Price Lever
Lead-acid batteries make a cart cheaper to buy but require regular maintenance and have a shorter lifespan. Lithium-ion carts like the E-Z-GO ELiTE series with Samsung SDI cells are up to around 120 kg lighter, 59% more efficient, charge twice as fast and are completely maintenance-free – with a 5-year battery warranty. Calculated over the period of use, lithium is therefore often the more economical choice.
3. New or Used
New carts offer a full factory warranty, the latest technology and maximum lifespan. Certified used carts are ideal when budget comes first: professionally maintained, immediately available and considerably cheaper. Our checklist shows what to look for when buying used.
4. Equipment
Weather protection, windscreen, cargo bed, street-legal kit, lighting, bench seats – the configuration can change the price noticeably. For use on public roads, add the cost of conversion and registration (more on street-legal carts).
5. Don't Forget Operating Costs
Electricity instead of petrol, maintenance-free lithium batteries and robust technology keep the running costs of electric golf carts low. Beyond the purchase price, budget for: charging power, wear parts (tyres, brakes) and – with lead-acid – battery maintenance and replacement.
