Golf Tech Brings State-of-the-Art Ball Management Technology to the Tuttendörfl and Schwechat Golf Ranges
Relox Robotics and Range Servant Elevate Practice Facilities to a New Level
Golf Tech, a leading provider of innovative golf course technologies, announces the successful implementation of cutting-edge ball management solutions at the Tuttendörfl and Schwechat golf range facilities. The project was carried out in close collaboration with technology partners Relox Robotics and Range Servant.
While Tuttendörfl received a fully integrated and fully automated ball management system, Schwechat uses the Relox Range Picker as an autonomous standalone component. There too, the robot handles reliable and continuous ball collection and automatically fills the ball dispensing machine – a significant relief in daily operations.
At Tuttendörfl, the Relox robot forms the heart of an end-to-end system: After unloading, the collected balls are automatically transported via a powerful blower system to the Range Servant washing unit and then distributed via a lift system to three ball dispensers. This fully integrated loop system operates around the clock (24/7) and guarantees maximum efficiency with minimal staffing.
The Relox Range Picker itself represents a new era in golf course management: With a collection capacity of up to 1,000 balls per run and a daily capacity of up to 30,000 balls, it handles even high-traffic facilities. Unloading takes place via a ditch or discharge station with a capacity of up to 5,000 balls. Thanks to its battery life of up to 6 hours, a charging time of just 2 hours, and quiet, player-friendly operation, it fits perfectly into any driving range.
Another technical highlight is the advanced GPS navigation system, which operates with a precision of up to 2.5 cm – entirely without boundary wires. This not only reduces installation effort but also enables flexible adaptation to different range layouts.
"With this technology, we are definitively moving beyond manual ball collection and the limitations of conventional systems," says Thomas Reiter, CEO of Golf Tech Golfartikelvertriebs GmbH. "Our customers benefit from reliability, efficiency, and significantly improved training quality."
Through the intelligent combination of cutting-edge components, Tuttendörfl now ranks among Europe's most technologically advanced practice facilities. In Schwechat too, the deployment of the Relox robot demonstrates how even a single system module can massively streamline and modernize daily operations. With these projects, Golf Tech once again underscores its role as an innovation driver in the golf industry.
