First Golf Courses in Germany Reopen!

Golf courses in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern are allowed to reopen.

While general contact restrictions as part of coronavirus measures were still in effect until May 3, state governments took different approaches when it came to leisure activities. There was good news for golfers in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern: Golf was allowed again from April 20.

The decision by Rhineland-Palatinate applied equally to the Saarland. Here too, sports could be played at "previously closed outdoor sports facilities – but only in pairs or with members of one's own household."
